The Garden is used on a regular basis for organised activities as well as freeplay. Both classrooms have access to it separately, as well as occasions when we are all out there together.
There are permanent features such as the castle, which contains a kitchen set and dressing up, the art and music corner, a quiet area with books for reading, as well as lots of space to garden, dig, run and use the bikes and scooters. We also have a sandpit and water play area, and in the summer we take out the paddling pool and will often have a picnic supper outside.
